Basic HTML Markup comment
13.3.16

In case you're always in the lost, ferreting for the basic markup every time you attempt to code a webpage,  the following is what a basic markup looks like;

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title></title>
</head>
<body>
</body>
</html>

If you're wondering what the first tag, the !DOCTYPE declaration means, it's basically there to tell the browser which version of HTML/XHTML to comply with. In this case, the declaration is referring to HTML 5.

There's a lot more to this declaration to learn about. Let Google be your best source of information!

That's it. Happy coding!
